For more than three decades, I've had the privilege of serving the community in many different ways.
As a Teacher, Justice of the Peace, Councillor, Deputy Mayor and twice-elected Mayor, I've worked alongside thousands of people from all walks of life.
I've celebrated community achievements, supported local sporting clubs, visited schools, worked with businesses, attended community events, helped families through difficult times and built lifelong friendships across the Seat of Essendon.
Strong communities are built by people who care enough to get involved.
