For more than 30 years I have served the community as a Teacher, Justice of the Peace, Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillor. I am standing as an Independent because Essendon deserves a representative who actively listens, works hard and always puts locals before Party Politics.
For more than 30 years I have served the community as a Teacher, Justice of the Peace, Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillor.
I am standing as an Independent because I believe the Seat of Essendon deserves a representative who actively listens, works hard and always puts locals before Party Politics.
The Seat of Essendon deserves Safer Streets, Better Roads, Stronger Schools, Better Sporting Facilities, Improved Healthcare, Support for Local Businesses and responsible planning that puts infrastructure before overdevelopment.
Practical, local and focused on the issues people raise with me every day.
Listen. Work Hard. Be Accessible and always Put The People in the Seat of Essendon First.
Born in Melbourne to hardworking migrant parents, I started my first job at McEwans Hardware at just 12 years old. Since then: 30+ years as a Teacher, more than 20 years as a Justice of the Peace, 18 years in Local Government as a twice-elected Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillor, and founder of the Bully Zero Australia Foundation.
I've never believed leadership is about titles. I've always believed it's about service.
The District includes all or parts of Essendon, Essendon North, Essendon Fields, Strathmore, Strathmore Heights, Moonee Ponds, Travancore, Ascot Vale and Flemington.
