Essendon First — Politics Last.
My Connection to Essendon

Local Roots & History

The Seat of Essendon is not just a place I am campaigning in. It is a community that has been a part of my life through my Family, Work, Business, Sport and Community Service.

Local Roots

I am not a parachute candidate.

My connection to the Seat of Essendon has been built over decades through Family, Work, Community Service, Local Schools, Local Businesses and Local Sport. I understand the challenges facing local families because I have spent decades working alongside them.

More than 30 years connected to Local Education

Local Roots

My family and I have strong connections across the Seat of Essendon

We lived right next to the Essendon Footbridge for over 5 years, we supported local businesses, spent much time along the Maribyrnong River and built lifelong friendships throughout the area.

My daughters attended Essendon North Primary and my youngest daughter — St Columba's College. My wife Sylvia worked in the Seat of Essendon for over 10 years on Napier/Rose Streets and both my daughters currently work in Moonee Ponds and Essendon North.
